Vinod Sharma & Hans Verhulst
Vinod Sharma & Hans Verhulst
Cedis was founded by Hans Verhulst in 2000, advising Ministries, Departments and international agencies on trade development and SMEs on international competitiveness.
In 2001, Vinod Sharma joined Cedis. Vinod and Hans met at Topix, an international trade conference organized by the CBI - agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They became business partners and good friends.
Soon, Cedis grew into a network of consultants from Asia, Africa, and Latin-America with a passion to guide local enterprises into international markets.
The network was aptly named "The Global Value Chain".
In 2012, the CBI published Cedis' book "ValueMagics, a new road map to global markets".
In 2013, McGraw-Hill published the book as "ValueMagics, a road map from cost to value".
ValueMagics is based on a model developed during Cedis' assignments in more than twenty countries with hundreds of enterprises - from practice to theory.
